Workplace giving is a wonderful way to give back to your community. Creating an opportunity to assist and help others is a pathway towards connection and fulfilment. There are many ways you and your workplace can become a partner of the Singleton Family Support team and work towards a community spirit that supports, protects and empowers families and individuals to thrive.
Businesses, organisations and individuals can request to donate an amount of their salary to Singleton Family Support each payroll cycle. Employers may match staff donations. If this is something your organisation would like to partner in, our Administration Officer can offer assistance to set up this simple process and provide tax invoices to all donors.
If you and your workplace have a specific interest or idea, Singleton Family Support could discuss ways in which you could become proactive in the community to offer specific assistance. Examples are: providing back to school packs for high school students, providing basic kitchen packs and white goods for women escaping family violence, providing access to sporting activities for children. Please contact the Manager to discuss ideas further.
Would your workplace like to assist Singleton Family support in practical ways to allow more assistance to go directly to families? Donations for program resources, to cover utilities: cost of rent, electricity, communication needs. This would allow more government funding to be spent on staff hours assisting families.
